Wealdbrook sits on an 11-hectare site in the Västra Götaland region of Sweden – surrounded by pristine woodlands, trickling waterways, a plethora of biodiversity and a nature reserve.
Here we tend to the health of our soil and ecosystem as land stewards, designing and managing systems and productions that are holistic, closed-loop and nature-mimicking.
From this, the reward we reap is a wealth of flavoursome, nutrient-dense food with which we feed bellies, nourish communities and enrich both human and ecologic cultures.
This land is where we strive to experience and showcase a more harmonious way of farming.

welcome to our farm!
We are Dylan and Sara Lowe. In 2023 we exchanged our suburban London lives with a quieter but more meaningful existence in the West Sweden countryside.
Dylan is a former travel writer with an obsessive curiosity for food – those with a Hong Kong upbringing tend to. He stepped away from the role of storyteller to become more involved in the subject he chronicled: cooking up popup restaurants, building community gardens, helping forge bridges and knowledge between people over meals, and retracing food right back to its source: where it is cultivated. He is a certified practitioner of Permaculture and Regenerative Design.
Sara grew up in rural Sweden with an inherent reverence for the natural environment. Her admiration followed her even as she moved to the city and pursued a Masters degree in environmental philosophy, contemplating the sanctity of human connection with nature. Outside her academic pursuit, she immersed herself in the hussle and bussle of local cafes as a barista and hospitality expert, developing a curiosity and care for people and multitudes of stories they carry. She learnt how a really good cup of coffee and heartfelt chat can be a beginning of relationships that will stand the test of time.
Together we converted a lawn into a self-styled “urban farm” in our backyard and grew an array of vegetables, fruits and edible flowers. We produced plenty of food, for ourselves and sharing among friends, neighbours and the occasional local markets.
Our mission is what brought us, with everything we’ve experienced and learnt, to Wealdbrook Farm: to provide food not only for nourishment and enjoyment, but also much-needed connections between people, cultures, and the natural world
