Visiting Wealdbrook

Wealdbrook Farm, as intended, is to be a visitors centre, demonstration site and beacon of agroecology in West Sweden, where we can provide experiences and deeper connection with food.

We are working as quickly as we can to reach this goal, but at the moment we are simply unprepared to maintain regular opening hours or receive larger numbers of visitors. Our staff members are constantly preoccupied with running a working farm and developing its infrastructure, and we are determined to protect the privacy of those residing on our site.

As such, all areas of Wealdbrook Farm are currently closed to the public at all times until further notice. We reserve the right to, with no malicious intent, refuse entry to any unsolicited, unscheduled visitors.

There are still a number of ways you can visit Wealdbrook Farm and enjoy the full extent of our hospitality:

Farm Open Days & Events

In 2025 we plan to host our first-ever Farm Open Days during the growing season (March to November). These will be accompanied by a guided tour (English/Swedish) and a chance for us to answer any burning questions.

As we have restricted capacity for accommodating both people and vehicles, Open Day attendees numbers will likely be limited. Advance registration will be required – spaces will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Several Open Days and gatherings will be announced to and held exclusively for our CSA members and supporters. Find out more about becoming a CSA member here.

Stay informed about any upcoming Open Days by subscribing to our newsletter, following us on our social channels, and checking regularly on our Farm News.

Scheduled Visits

If you wish to make an appointment for a private visit, simply head to our Contact Form and inform us of the reason and preferred time of your intended visit.

Self-service Farm Booth

By late summer 2025 we will open an unattended farm booth on the side of the public road adjacent to our farm entrance. During specific times, it will be stocked with fresh produce available for self-service purchase using an electronic Honesty Box system (Swish Bod).

It will also serve as the collection point for pre-orders and CSA weekly subscriptions.

Visitors Information

Wealdbrook Agroekologi Farm is situated, by car, 45 minutes north of Gothenburg and 30 minutes south of Trollhättan.

Due to our remote location, there are currently no direct public transport to and from Wealdbrook Farm. Pickup and dropoff can be pre-arranged (e.g. for our volunteers) from/at our nearest stations:

Train from/to Gothenburg or Trollhättan: Lödöse Södra
Bus 630 from/to Trollhättan (via Sjuntorp): Upphärads Kyrka

Important notice: From June 2025 access to Wealdbrook Farm will be severely limited by road closures due to maintenance works. Traffic may only pass through the affected section of our road during certain hours; these times will be published here once we have received further details from Trafikverket.
