Volunteer With Us
More than just a place, Wealdbrook Farm is a community of people coming together to share a love and reverence of food and nature. A hunger to stay connected with where what we eat comes from – an ever-elusive connection in the times we live in.
Even in these early days of developing Wealdbrook Farm and disseminating our mission, we have had the privilege of accepting a helping hand from many like-minded individuals with different backgrounds, stages of life and knowhow.
We are determined to grow and nurture this community of volunteers – and to repay with the wholesome experience they desire when they answer our call to action.
Volunteer Days
We will be hosting several volunteer days throughout the year, starting in March. Details and dates will be announced shortly.
Please keep an eye on our Farm News, social media channels and email newsletters to hear about upcoming volunteer days. You may also express an interest in volunteering by contacting us and we will let you know as soon as we have scheduled a date.
Work Placement
In this early development stage we are unable to offer any paid positions. Though we recognise this to be a valuable learning opportunity specific to those preparing to start a small farm – many challenges unique to the startup phase simply can’t be experienced or rehearsed in more established farms. It’s also a way for us to give back the help and knowledge we have been gifted, by assisting someone else along their farming journey.
We are planning to accept applications of unpaid placements (accommodation and meals provided) in the second half of 2025 on an ad hoc basis, with priority given to applicants with genuine intention of starting a farm and are able to stay for a period no less than three weeks.
More details on our work placement scheme us will be released later this year. You can also express your interest ahead of then by getting in touch via our contact form.
